Story of Wooden Bird
While teaching the Kuru princes, Dronacharya got a wooden bird made by an artisan and placed it on the top of a tree. One by one he asked the Kaurav and Pandav brothers to take aim. Most of the Kuru princes said that they see branches and leaves of the tree in addition to the bird. Whosoever said this, Dronacharya asked them to step aside. When it was Arjun's turn, he said only the bird was visible to him. When asked to focus more, Arjun said he can see the eyes of the bird only. When asked to release the arrow, Arjun hit the eye of the bird without a blink.
