Story of Udupi King

The King of Udupi was one of the neutral kings. He prepared food for armies of both sides and with such precision that not a single grain of food was ever wasted. According to a popular legend, he used to give Bhagwan Sri Krishn peeled boiled peanuts in a bowl every night. Bhagwan Sri Krishn used to eat a few peanuts and the King of Udupi used to count how many peanuts were eaten. If 10 peanuts were eaten, he would know 10,000 would die the next day, so he cooked accordingly.
