Story of Surath

Surath, a valiant Panchal maharath, fearlessly charged into battle against Ashvatthama, unleashing a barrage of blazing arrows. Despite his fierce assault, Ashvatthama, enraged, struck back with a deadly iron-tipped arrow. The arrow pierced Surath’s heart, killing the heroic warrior instantly as he fell to the ground.
