Story of Shini

Shini was the grandfather of Sātyaki and a brave warrior. At Devakī’s svayaṃvar, he defeated all rival kings for Vasudev, placed Devakī on his chariot, overpowered Somadatt in a fierce duel, and then, showing magnanimity, spared his life and let him go
