Story of Jayadrath

Jayadrath was the King of the Sindhu kingdom. He was married to Dushala, the only sister of the hundred Kaurav brothers. Jayadrath fought on the side of his brother-in-law in the Kurukshetr war. Bhagwan Shiv granted a boon that for one day, Jayadrath would be able to fight and not get defeated by any of the Pandavs except Arjun. He used it on the 13th day of the war. He stopped the four Pandavs from entering the Chakravyuh to help Abhimanyu. He was killed by Arjun on the 14th day of the war.
