Story of Hans
Hans, a supreme warrior in Jarasandha's army, fought fiercely during the attack on Mathura. He and his companion Dibhaka were unmatched on the battlefield, their strength like that of the immortals. During the conflict, a rumor spread that Hans had been killed. Upon hearing this, Dibhaka, unable to live without his companion, chose to end his life by drowning himself in the Yamuna. When Hans, the vanquisher of enemy cities, learned of Dibhaka’s death, he too, devastated by the loss, immersed himself in the Yamuna and drowned.
