Story of Dhrishtaketu

Dhrishtaketu took over as the King of Chedi after the death of Shishupal. He was a General in the Pandav army in the Kurukshetr war. He led the armies of Chedis, Kasis, and the Karushas. Bhishm had high regard for Dhrishtaketu's abilities and rated him as a Maharathi. Dronacharya killed Dhrishtaketu on the 14th day of the war.
